The Los Angeles Lakers need to build their team roster more innovatively and eliminate some pieces that haven't been of great value this season.

Patrick Beverley will earn 13 Million this season, but his salary is an excess compared to what he brings to the table for coach Darvin Ham's team. Some players that have proved their worth are Austin Reaves, Wenyen Gabriel, and Thomas Bryant.

More Lakers news:

Since his return, Bryant has been giving worth-it performances, but he has taken off after Anthony Davis got hurt and has been out. After that, Bryant started getting significant minutes, and in his last five games, he averaged 18 PPG, 11.9 RPG, and 72% FG.

Currently, Bryant is earning 2M this year, but he should get an extension contract, and the Lakers should trade Pat Bev in this trade season or at least in the following offseason and, with that salary, offer Thomas a new contract.

Austin Reaves should also get an extension contract

The Lakers guard and year two rookie Austin Reaves has been able to earn a spot in the team after two seasons, especially this one. His game has improved, and become a vital piece of Ham's team. He only earns a salary of 1.6 Million but is now reported to increase his value by around 10 Million per season; the Lakers should offer him an extended contract.
