The Lakers have just waived three players, including one who was with the team since the previous season

The LA Lakers made it official, they have waived three players with just one preseason game left before the official start of the NBA regular season.

The X (Twitter) official account has recently released the message “The Lakers have requested waivers on Vincent Valerio-Bodon, Damion Baugh, and Scotty Pippen Jr.”

On Sunday, the Lakers hosted a game against Milwaukee and with the absence of the 2023 NBA Draft rookie Jalen Hood-Schifino, Pippen Jr. had the opportunity to earn another opportunity with the team, as he has been part of the roster since the last 2022-23 campaign as he was one of the two-way players.

Pippen Jr. only scored 5 points and didn't give a great performance, sadly his opportunity is gone now and the team has requested waivers on him alongside the other two exhibit-10 players.

Scotty Pippen Jr. and Cole Swider have left the team now

The two two-way contract players from the last campaign, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Cole Swider are no longer part of the team. Swider is looking for an opportunity with the Miami Heat and Pippen Jr. has now returned as a free agent.
