He has been labeled as the most overrated player in the league, the Lakers want to sign him

The Los Angeles Lakers are focused on winning in game two of their series vs. the Memphis Grizzlies, but the front office isn't resting and isn't wasting time planning their movements in the upcoming offseason.

It has been a rumor that the LA Lakers are planning on signing this offseason Trae Young after the rumors of his possible departure from the Atlanta Hawks.

The curious thing is that yesterday it was just released the NBA poll 2023 results that has Young as the most overrated player in the league according to the NBA players themselves.

On Monday, Heavy.com NBA insider Sean Deveney reported on some intel from an NBA executive on the Young situation and Los Angeles Lakers' possible role in it.

The Lakers are interested in trading for Trae Young

“(The Lakers) went out and got tradeable pieces. If the Hawks don't make a move [to trade Young] in the summer, the Lakers would be a possibility next season. It would take a lot, and things would have to align just right for that. I also don't buy that every guy who signs with [Klutch Sports] is going to the Lakers, that is obviously not the case. But this is one they have been watching.” Said Deveney.
