The Los Angeles Lakers played yesterday in the Summer League against the Charlotte Hornets; it was an excellent game for LA, and they won. The young center Colin Castleton got to shined and was the best player for the purple and gold.
But the game was also packed with talent off the court, as players like Gabe Vincent, Cam Reddish, and Taurean Prince were present. Also, the head coach for the purple and gold, Darvin Ham, was in the house, but a Boston Celtics superstar stole the spotlight: Jayson Tatum.
It's not a secret that Tatum loves the Lakers franchise, as his favorite player of all time is the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant; also, it isn't a secret that he has long dreamed of playing for the Lakers.
His dream could become a reality shortly, and coach Ham was seen conversing with him during the game, which could convince the star to join the team soon once his contract with the Celtics has concluded.
To make a tribute to Kobe Bryant, Jayson Tatum once wore the Lakers jersey with the number 24 for a photo shoot in honor of the LA's late legend.
