By James Brown
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar bis one of the greatest players of all time in the sport, he also is one of the most popular in sports history and is only behind Michael Jordan as the NBA star with the biggest fortune, and the richest active player by being a billionaire.
While one of the biggest earnings LeBron has had in his career comes from his salary in 21 years of career he wouldn't have been able to accomplish amassing a billion-dollar fortune if it wasn't because of his endorsement deal with Nike and the millions of shoes he has been able to do thanks to his popularity.
After Michael Jordan, LeBron James is the basketball player that most basketball sneakers sell, so much so that Nike signed him a lifetime deal worth one billion dollars.
Twenty years have passed in his career and LeBron has dozens of signature shoes released now he has blind-ranked his top 5 shoes placing at the No. 1 spot his "South Beach 8's," at No. 2 the Nike LeBron 9 "Watch the Throne," in No. 3 the LeBron 10 "Cork," at the 4th spot the "Miami Nights" LeBron 9 lows and finally in the 5th place the "First Game."
It is known that the ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith is an "MJ" guy, but he recently admitted to having a hard time thinking LeBron James could take the No. 1 spot after what he has been capable of doing in his year 21 in the league.
