The Los Angeles Lakers had a lot of problems in the last offseason building their team roster, between the Russell Westbrook drama and not having enough cap space, things weren't good.

One of the players who arrived in LA for the 2022-23 season was the Mexican-American Juan Toscano-Anderson, who had at that moment, recently won the NBA championship title with the Golden State Warriors.

Toscano-Anderson didn't have a good season with the Lakers, between injuries and not being at the highest level to help the purple and gold he was traded at the deadline, and now hasn't been able to find an NBA team to play with in this 2023-24 season.

Juan did have a workout with the Warriors but didn't pick him up for a second stint, and now will be returning "home" to Mexico to play with the Capitanies G League team from Mexico City.

The JTA message that shows he is excited to join the Capitanes

Despite no longer being in the NBA and stopped playing for the Lakers, Juan Toscano-Anderson has shown to be excited about signing with Los Capitanes as his tweet posted before the news shows: "Today, the sun shined brighter than it ever has in my 30 years of life."
