On Tuesday night the LA Lakers got to beat the Phoenix Suns, a big part of it was thanks to the return of critical players like Rui Hachimura and especially Jarred Vanderbilt who was out for twenty games and just recently made his debut this season.

When the Lakers had several absences due to injuries the two rookies Jalen Hood-Schifino, and Maxwell Lewis, and even the three two-way players got a chance of some playing minutes, but now that most of the roster is back and healthy things have changed.

With information via Lakers Nation Trevor Lane: "Lakers announce they have assigned Jalen Hood-Schifino and Maxwell Lewis to the South Bay Lakers."

This is a good move as both rookies could get more playing time with South Bay and improve to then make a comeback. Still, both players could get promoted back to the Lakers before Thursday's semifinal game vs. the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Lakers got praised for Austin Reaves who was a standout

Besides Anthony Davis and LeBron James, Austin Reaves was the best player of the Lakers and the two stars got to praise him: "We feel like we can go to him at any time, and he’ll make the right play.” Anthony Davis & LeBron James speak on AR’s importance and the team's identity as players return from injury."
