One of the main weaknesses the LA Lakers have had in the last few seasons has been their 3-point shooting. In the last campaign, the 15th roster spot was taken at the beginning of the regular season by the sharpshooter Matt Ryan.

While his stint with the Lakers didn't last for long, as he didn't get enough playing time and was waived sooner rather than later, he once saved the team to get their second with, with a buzzer beater 3-pointer to send the gave vs. the New Orleans Pelicans to overtime.

The Lakers won the game in OT and were able to get their second victory of the campaign, still, they were up to an awful start with a 2-10 record. Despite his shooting, Ryan was waved and the fans were sad with the lack of opportunity the player got.

Now, with information via The Athletic's Shams Charania: "Free agent G/F Matt Ryan is signing a two-way NBA deal to return to the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Ryan shot 38.1 percent from 3-point land across 34 games for the Lakers and T'Wolves last season."

The Lakers fans still remember Matty Ryan

Up to this day, despite the short stint, the fans still remember the cold 3-pointer shot to beat the buzzer in the last quarter against the Pelicans. Ryan will get a new opportunity to prove his worth.
