Austin Reaves was one of the standout players for the Los Angeles Lakers and was the third-best of the team just behind Anthony Davis and LeBron James as he scored 14 points in the third quarter alone to help the team stay afloat against the Phoenix Suns on the In-Season Tournament quarterfinals game.

At the end of the night, Austin Reaves scored a total of 20 points with 6 rebounds and 2 assists, even the Lakers guard had a clutch 3-pointer that helped the team get the win over the Suns, but the player that has been consistently the leader of the team besides LeBron James is D'Angelo Russell who signed for a two-year and 37 million extension this offseason and has been balling this season, still, fans want him back when he isn't scoring 3-pointers.

Dlo and AR have become close friends, and the point guard has shown his love to Austin and his leadership by walking into the press room post-game as Austin Reaves was talking to the media and yelled: "Big nuts!"

Reaves not only impressed the fans but his teammates and DLo's reaction is just proof of it. Anthony Davis and LeBron James also got some praise for the guard. Russell had a discrete performance regarding scored points as he had 8, but his help was more noticeable on the court with 5 assists.

Austin Reaves has been having a coming off the bench to lead the 2nd unit, but he has shown he is the third star of the team with his performances and also his playing minutes, as D'Angelo Russell stars over him but at the end of almost every night, he gets less playing time than Reaves.
