The Los Angeles Lakers continue their work in the offseason; this time, they have made a new acquisition to the team but are not a new player for the roster but a new coaching staff member.
The former Lakers head coach Frank Vogel has stolen a couple of coaching staff members of the Lakers' current coach Darvin Ham, so Ham had to find a new assistant coach to help him in the next season.
According to ESPN's NBA insider Dave McMenamin, the Lakers begin replenishing their coaching staff with DeMarre, especially after Vogel signed with the Suns.
"The Lakers are hiring DeMarre Carroll as an asst coach on Darvin Ham's staff, sources told ESPN. Carroll worked for Mike Budenholzer in MIL last season. Ham, Carroll, and Bud were all in Atlanta together when ATL went 60-22 w/ Carroll as the starting SF and was No. 1 in the East," Wrote McMenamin.
The new Lakers coaching staff member was a champion with the Milwaukee Bucks, with Giannis Antetokounmpo as the team's leader. Carroll's arrival to LA is exciting for the Lakers fans as he would develop the wings like Rui Hachimura and Jarred Vanderbilt.
