It seems the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to have a blockbuster trade this summer to build a contending team for next season

After the Lakers make it to the Western Conference Finals, they plan to keep most of the roster as it is now but to bring a superstar that can help LeBron James and Anthony Davis win the 18th title for the franchise.

The former NBA player, now ESPN's analyst Kendrick Perkins is making one of the boldest predictions ever with a move that would shake the entire league and make LA an instant favorite contender for next year's title.

Perkins predicts that James Harden will sign with the Lakers, even when there haven't been any signs of any of the two parties having an interest in such a deal; there's no doubt this would be a blockbuster move from the Lakers.

Controversies aside, there's no doubt the beard is one of the top guards in the league, and he has shown he still has it, and alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis would be a leading Big 3 to face for any team in the league. If Harden arrives, it would be in D'Angelo Russell's place who was a let down in the postseason and an upgrade is what LA has been pursuing.

The Lakers fan prefer Trae Young over James Harden

One of the superstars that have been circling the Lakers is Trae Young, and for many fans, it will be the top choice over Harden, who is known to be one of the most challenging players to deal with.
