It is known that the Los Angeles Lakers is not only one of the most famous NBA franchises but also a team that many players dream of being part of, and there's a former player that wishes to be back with the purple and gold.

Recent reports have one of the players that Lakers fans mostly want back, Kyle Kuzma, apparently declining his 13 million player option with the Wizards to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

With his usual posts remembering his "great" years with the Lakers, including winning the 2020 championship title, it is a no-brainer that Kuzma wants to return to the player with the purple and gold; plus, he still lives in LA.

According to NBA insider Jake Weinback, this could be possible as Kuzma is set to decline the Wizards' offer "Kyle Kuzma is expected to decline his $13.0M player option with the Wizards and become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Potential suitors for Kuzma could include the Pacers, Rockets, Spurs, Kings, and Jazz. A reunion with the Lakers is also a looming possibility."

Kuzma is a good option, but it doesn't solve the Lakers' big problem

This season, Kuzma averaged a career-high 21.2 points a game. However, he's not the man to solve the Lakers' 3-point shooting woes — he shot just 33.3 percent from downtown and has never shot as high as 37 percent from that distance for an entire season.
