The latest Lakers incorporations to the team's roster were made to improve it, but one particular player has been a disappointment so far.

After a great EuroBasket tournament, the Los Angeles Lakers Head coach Darvin Ham and GM Rob Pelinka decided to sign the German guard Dennis Schröder, which was announced as a big sign.

Schröder is returning to the Los Angeles franchise after one year of being away; many expectations are set on him on what he can bring to solidify the defense and the offense. But it has been just one disappointment after another.

More Lakers news:

The main problem that Dennis had to face was not on the basketball court but with the immigration paperwork that made him miss a big chunk of training camp and almost all of the preseason; this made him fall behind the rest of the team.

And after debuting this Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, his performance was also non-existent, and now fans want him out of the team for the front office to bring in a shooter; that is what the team needs the most. Schröder scored zero points and only one rebound in all his 9 minutes of playtime.

The reason Dennis Schröder returned to the Lakers

More than his talent, as he had a completely forgettable year, the German Guard Dennis Schröder made a comeback to the purple and gold, as he has a friendship with coach Darvin Ham. So he knows it is safe for him, and he can underperform, and Ham will still give him playing minutes. This is terrible news for the team and fans.
