He won a title with the Lakers and wants back to LA, but his return could be with another NBA team

The Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA 2020 championship title thanks in some part to the role that the big man Dwight Howard had, especially in the WCF series vs. the Denver Nuggets.

After playing with the purple and gold in the 2021-22 season, Howard wasn't able to find a new NBA team and decided to continue his Basketball career in Taiwan, he played there for a year.

But now that Dwight has become a free agent, he wants to return to the NBA and reports have him set to meet with the Golden State Warriors sometime in the next week.

Not only Howard is going to meet with the Warriors, but he has allegedly told NBA teams interested in him that he's in shape and ready to continue to a franchise “The 37-year-old has expressed to interested teams this offseason that he is in shape and ready to enter his 19th NBA season to contribute in any form for a franchise,” Shams Charania and Anthony Slater wrote.

Dwight Howard's path in the NBA

The 6-foot-10 big man has played for seven teams — the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Charlotte Hornets, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards — across his 18 seasons in the NBA. Most recently, Howard averaged 6.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in 60 games with the storied Lakers franchise during the 2021-22 regular season.
