The Los Angeles Lakers NBA franchise has a rich history in the league, and with that, thousands of players have come and gone, but there is one that has a particular story.
The Los Angeles native Nick Young played for the Lakers for four years, from 2013 to 2017, to later win an NBA championship in 2018 with the Golden State Warriors.
Young signed the same year with the Denver Nuggets, and only twenty days later, he was waived after playing only four games and then retired.
Life was hard for Young after retiring, and he decided to become a boxer, but sadly he lost on his debut in September of 2022. He'll continue to pursue this career or try to find a new one.
Before deciding to move and play for the Taiwanese Basketball League, the former 2020 champion with the Lakers, Dwight Howard, almost pursued a career in WWE as he was invited, but first wanted to give his all on the basketball court.
