The Los Angeles Lakers fans aren't happy with what they have seen so far from the team's 2023 NBA Draft Pick Jalen Hood-Schifino, despite the coaching staff and teammates praising him and calling him the training camp MVP.

The reality is that missing several games due to injuries and the scarce playing minutes he has had in the NBA and not even participating in the G-League haven't helped the purple and gold rookie to develop this season.

Hood-Schifino hasn't gotten enough time to prove himself, as opposed to the Miami Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. who was the No. 18 Draft Pick, who has shown LA he could've helped the team more than Jalen Hood-Schifino, at least this season.

JHS remains to be a promise for the future while Jaquez Jr. has been impressive and has even become a top 3 candidate to win the Rookie Of the Year award against Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren.

Jalen Hood-Schifino's last performance was this Thursday vs. the Charlotte Hornets

The LA Lakers rookie JHS was able to have some playing minutes against the Charlotte Hornets thanks to the blowout win, in seven minutes on the court, the young guard scored 2 points, having a 1/5 FG, with one assist and one steal. This performance is hard to judge because it wasn't much time to see how he's doing, Ham needs to find a way to develop the young player in a better way.
