The former Lakers big man Dwight Howard doesn't have an NBA team for this season, but he has stirred up the internet with a controversial all-time Lakers defender ranking

The Los Angeles Lakers have had some of the greatest players in the NBA of all time, but also the team has some of the best defensive players in the league of all time.

Howard had in the offseason a couple of workouts with the Golden State Warriors but it went nowhere as the Dubbs passed on signing the experienced vet an NBA champion with the purple and gold.

In the meantime Howard looking to find a new team to play with in the upcoming NBA 2023-24 season, Dwight has stirred up the internet, especially social media with a recent post that had an all-time ranking of the best Lakers defenders.

The All-time rankings of best defenders in LA Lakers history have Anthony Davis in the number one spot, with Howard in the nine and the most controversial ranking of Shaquille O'Neal down to the 10th spot, despite the fact of him being one of the most dominant players in the league.

Lakers fans aren't happy with the ranking posted by Dwight Howard

Many fans believed this was an outrageous ranking, as Howard and O'Neal should be in the top five, still, most of these lists are subjective of who made it.
