In what became a back-and-forth game, the Los Angeles Lakers were closer than expected to beating the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference the Minnesota Timberwolves, in a game where bad shooting and mistakes made the team fall plus a bad call by the NBA referees in the last minute of game by calling LeBron James 3-pointer to count as a 2 point shot.

Despite all of this, not everything was wrong for the team, as the Los Angeles Lakers showtime era legend James Worthy believes there's a positive takeaway besides the loss to the number one seed in the West.

"If Minnesota is the best team in the West, I feel pretty good about where we are," said James Worthy after analyzing the loss the purple and gold had to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Anthony Davis and LeBron James gave outstanding performances as they scored 33 and 26 points respectively, still, it wasn't enough to take the win as the rest of the team failed to live up to their two superstars' game.

Anthony Davis believes LeBron James shot should've count as a 3-pointer

"It's a three. A clear-cut three. Foot was behind the line. We talked to the officials and they said it was the replay center... It's tough. Tough one, for sure," said Anthony Davis about LeBron's clutch shot that should've tied the game and probably sent it to overtime.
