The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling all season long, especially with injuries, and now that the team has a 17-17 record, reports have several possibilities for a trade to happen to help the team accomplish its ultimate goal.
A player that the Lakers NBA franchise already knows is Kyle Kuzma, the player who helped the team win the 2020 championship title and was long rumored to be back until this offseason when he signed a massive four-year 90 million deal.
But now a new report by Bret Siegel has Kyle Kuzma expected to be made available by the Wizards for 'multiple first-round picks.' So that's the high price the Lakers would have to pay to see one of his former Baby Lakers back.
The first is the Los Angeles Lakers. L.A. was briefly linked to Kuzma this past offseason, and the skills he would bring to the table continue to be ones that the Lakers need at the moment. Specifically, his offensive prowess. He is averaging 23.1 points per game on 46.6 percent shooting from the field and 35.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
That being said, the Lakers are one of four frontrunners for Zach LaVine, one of three for Trae Young, and one of two for Dejounte Murray. In addition, they have been linked to a huge three-team blockbuster trade. Those moves take priority.
