Trading rumors haven't stopped for the LA Lakers as they are still figuring out their roster, they haven't been able to stay fully healthy for a single game and haven't been able to see where they truly stand as a contending team despite having recently won the first-ever In-Season Tournament.
Different reports have the Lakers' front office considering a trade with the Chicago Bulls, Zach LaVine has been brought up as someone the team is interested in signing, but they are still waiting to see how the roster behaves.
One of the NBA's young stars fans want the Lakers to go after is the Utah Jazz Lauri Markkanen, but now the asking price from Utah Jazz has been revealed.
If the Lakers GM Rob Pelinka want to go after Markkanen, the asking price for the Jazz star could be around 'five-ish picks,' pero Kevin O'Connor: "My impression from talking to teams is that it’s something resembling the haul the Jazz received for Mitchell and Gobert: so, five-ish firsts and/or players of comparable value.”
“You’re always gonna get Lakers trade rumors and, look, they have some guys they can move and some holes they can fill,” an NBA executive told Heavy Sports. “But that is true of everyone. I think for them, they’re looking at it like they still don’t know what they are and everything they need to fix that roster is already on that roster. It’s a matter of health. You don’t want to make a trade to fix something that is going to be fixed in a couple of weeks once everyone’s healthy anyway.”
