The Los Angeles Lakers were able to build a strong roster this offseason thanks to the job made by GM Rob Pelinka and head coach Darvin Ham.

Not only did Coach Ham have a say in each of the signings, but in different cases, he was the one convincing players and letting them know that they were great for the team, especially the plans he had for them.

"I'm extremely comfortable right now, but not satisfied," said Darvin Ham as he discussed entering his year two as a head coach in the league.

Christian Wood and Taurean Prince were some of the new Lakers who received a call from coach Ham as soon as they became free agents and let them know how they fit into the team's strategy.

Gabe Vincent is looking forward to being part of the Lakers

"I'm just looking forward to competing. Putting on these threads and going out there and competing and representing this organization and this city." Gabe Vincent on joining the purple and gold.
