It was said by the NBA media and the Lakers fanbase that the organization had "won" the offseason with the signings made by the GM Rob Pelinka and head coach Darvin Ham, but if the first preseason game vs. Warriors may be overhyped, still, is just a preseason contest.
What was palpable, was that the returning Lakers are doing great, but the new signings are still away from completely adapting to coach Ham's system, the problem is, Cam Reddish, a player the fans wanted to wear the purple and gold jersey for a long time, had a terrible start so far.
Reddish is set to have his breakout season with LA, but if this game is a parameter on what to expect, bad news is expecting the team regarding the forward.
Cam isn't having a good debut with the Lakers as he is air-balling 3-pointers, missing layups, and committing unforced turnovers, this isn't a good start.
Max Christie is taking advantage of the battle between Christie and Cam Reddish on who will be having more playing time. It was already reported that the Lakers sophomore was going to have more minutes on the court but now it seems that is a no-brainer as Reddish is having a forgettable game with zero points so far, the only player for LA that hasn't scored so far.
