The rivalry between the Lakers and the Clippers continues to grow, and Kawhi Leonard may have thrown a shade on the purple and gold

The Los Angeles Clippers always appear to have the Lakers in mind, even when they have dominated the "Battle for LA" for eleven games.

In an attempt to show that they are better than the purple and gold, the Clippers signed Russell Westbrook to prove they can make him work with their stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, unlike the failed attempt by the Lakers to pair him with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Russell  Westbrook was a welcome addition to the Clippers fans and their organization, and it has improved his performances, even when his bricks are still present. Now Kawhi Leonard is using him to throw some shade at the Lakers.

When Westbrook was still a Laker, his famous "Win, lose or draw, just have fun, bro" speech became viral, and the Lakers Nation heavily criticized it.

What Kawhi Leonard said "against" the Lakers

After the Clippers beat the Suns in the first game of their series, Kawhi Leonard said: “Win, lose or draw, it's about giving your best out there. You must keep having fun with it.” The Lakers fans are taking it like a shade to them after Russ's speech backlfired in his stint with the purple and gold.
