Many believed Mo Bamba or even Tristan Thompson could be returning to the team, but after the news broke of the Orlando Magic waiving Bol Bol, Pelinka has shown interest in the big player.

In case the signing of Bol Bol happens, some fans are worried that the center could not be a starter-level player and could be more of a project to be, just like the recent signing of Jaxson Hayles.

The path to fixing the Lakers' shooting percentage is likely more attempts for Austin Reaves and Max Christie, Rui Hachimura's late-season improvement from deep being real, Gabe Vincent finding success with more catch-and-shoot opportunities, and LeBron reverting to being a 35ish% shooter instead of 32%, which makes a big difference due to the volume that he shoots.
