The free agency market is here, and the Lakers are looking to improve their roster. At the same time, they will try to re-sign most of their players that have become free agents.

But one star from the Warriors that has become a free agent is of interest to the Lakers, as he currently declined his 4.7 million players option with the GSW.

LA could offer him something higher, but at most, 10 million to sign the star. According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the purple and gold is one of the teams to watch that pursue the guard:

“DiVincenzo opted out of his $4.7 million player option with the Warriors and is expected to receive offers from teams utilizing most of their mid-level exception, if not all of it. The Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, and Cavaliers have been mentioned as possible suitors for DiVincenzo, sources said, with the New York Knicks also coming up in multiple reports around the league. After winning a championship with Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson at Villanova, New York may be a very appealing destination for DiVincenzo personally.” Wrote Siegel.

The Lakers have offered a four-year deal to Austin Reaves

The minute the free agency started, the Lakers offered their SG Austin Reaves a four-year deal worth 52 million, but in case other teams offer more, the team will have the option to match it as Reaves is a RFA.
