The Class of 2023 will be inducted tonight to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame which includes the Lakers legend Pau Gasol. Gasol was able to help the Purple and Gold when Kobe needed the most.

After Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, the best Lakers duo the franchise had was Kobe Bryant with Pau Gasol, together they won two back-to-back championships to bring the joys back to the LA franchise.

Gasol will be now a Hall of Famer and is the No. 30 Lakers star to form part of this honor. Still, Pau is making history by becoming the first Spanish player to become part of the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Spain is celebrating this great achievement reached by Pau Gasol, and also the Bryant family celebrates it as Pau and Kobe were more than teammates, they were close friends.
