The Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James' has been around for 20 years in the NBA; in that time, Anthony Davis was the best duo he has made with a size center.

But there's no doubt that the best duo with a Point Guard James has played with is Kyrie Irving. LeBron has wanted to reunite with his former Cavaliers teammate for a long time now, but it hasn't happened.

In the last season, the Lakers GM Rob Pelinka attempted to sign the star, but the Brooklyn Nets owner Jao Tsai decided to trade him to the Dallas Mavericks instead. The rumors had LA pursuing Irving this offseason, but the PG signed again with the Mavs.

But the reunion could still be possible in LA after LeBron James' latest IG story praised Kyrie Irving and showed his interest in reuniting with him again. The Lakers could pursue the PG again in the following offseason. LeBron posted a picture of Kyrie Irving with the caption, "This has nothing to do with his 'all-time' ranking, but he is the best player with the ball in his hands we've ever seen.' to what LeBron James captioned with 'ever!!!!'"

Brian Windhorst believes a reunion with LeBron and Kyrie is still possible

ESPN's NBA insider Brian Windhorst recently said that he believes LeBron still wants desire to play alongside Kyrie Irving, and a reunion is possible. This year won't be happening, but the next offseason remains a possibility.
