The sports world is challenging for athletes, as the career life span is shorter than most professions, as in the mid-thirties, players are already too old.
That happened to Dwight Howard, who was in the Lakers, but it wasn't working anymore. Despise helping 2020 to win the NBA championship title, his performances dropped for the 2021-22 season, and he left LA.
Howard looked for another NBA team to play for the 2022-23 season but couldn't find a place anywhere and was close to retiring and even trying to change careers to become a wrestler in the WWE.
But now Dwight is playing basketball in Taiwan, and with his team wanting to cut his pay by 65% is currently looking to be back in the NBA and return to LA, but the purple and gold have already moved on from the vet center.
After playing with LA, another former Laker and NBA vet, Carmelo Anthony didn't find a new team, and after sitting out the entire season "jobless," he decided to retire.
