By James Brown
LeBron James dropped a bomb after the Lakers swept the Denver Nuggets by hinting at the possibility of retiring after this season. Of course, no one thinks James will stop playing after this campaign, but it shook the NBA world.
Today another bomb was dropped after a couple of NBA Insiders shared the news that the Mavs star Kyrie Irving is trying to recruit LeBron to play for Dallas and form a Big 3.
But according to The Athletic's Jovan Buha, the Lakers are interested in something other than what Dallas could offer in a trade for LeBron James. Of course, there's only one way they would trade LeBron, and the star would leave the franchise, but it isn't happening.
"If Dallas offers Luka Dončić for James, then yes, one would assume the Lakers will listen." Wrote Buha. But Dallas won't let their superstar go, as Doncic is one of the best players in today's NBA.
This has been reported before, but the latest news has the Lakers not wanting to sign Kyrie Irving. This comes out moments after a couple of NBA Insiders revealed Dallas wants LeBron James, and Irving is trying to recruit him.
