The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most storied NBA franchises, they are tied with the Boston Celtics with 17th Championship titles to be the most winning teams in the league, still, the media and fans want to create a rivalry with the Clippers.
The Lakers and the Clippers share the city and the Crypto.com Arena, but one is bigger than the other in every sense, and that's the purple and gold, reason why in a couple of years from now the Clippers will be moving out of the Arena and LA.
In one episode of his podcast, the Clippers star Paul George has opened up about how his team feels like the little brother of the Lakers, showing the purple and gold superiority.
"It feels like we are the little bros over there, they treat us different," said Paul George, also adding that the lighting is even different for the Lakers games to the Clippers. "So it's just a weird Dynamic, it's a Lakers town."
The former Lakers PG Patrick Beverley signed in the last offseason with the team, and when asked about the difference between the two LA franchises, Pat didn't hesitate to show his preference for the Lakers over the Clippers saying it was a "Day & Night difference."
