Recently the LA Lakers head coach Darvin Ham has revealed that he and his team aren't holding back against the Phoenix Suns, as they plan to play it like is the season opener.

Ham said on the preseason finale "We’re going to come in and play a real, normal, competitive basketball game and see how we fit together in long stretches."

While Darvin wants to see his team ahead of the season opener, they will also be facing the Suns on their at-home season opener, which will be interesting to see, but this Thursday's contest marks the first time former LA's head coach Frank Vogel face the purple and gold since being fired.

The Lakers head coach Frank Vogel became the collateral damage of the failed Russell Westbrook experiment, now this Thursday we'll be seeing an epic battle between the current Lakers head coach and the last former coach Frank Vogel.

Gabe Vincent could be back and available for the game vs. the Suns

Besides Austin Reaves, the PG Gabe Vincent has made a great duo with D'Angelo Russell in the backcourt for LA, but after missing the two previous preseason games, Vincent could be back. With information via ESPN's Dave McMenamin: "Gabe Vincent participated after missing the last two games with back tightness."
