It's time to shine, the Lakers guard that should have his breakout game tonight

With D'Angelo Russell listed as questionable and the Utah Jazz being shorthanded for tonight, a player should be getting into the team's rotation and should be using the opportunity to show coach Darvin Ham he deserves more playing time.

Rui Hachimura had his breakout game against the Houston Rockets and proved to Ham he should be considered more often, but another player should get more time.

Lonnie Walker was a regular starter at the beginning of the season and has shown he is a valuable and reliable player. Still, he should have his breakout game tonight, as Coach Ham should give him more playing time, and the game vs. Utah is the perfect opportunity for that.

Wenyen Gabriel and Lonnie Walker became some of the more affected players of the team with the trades, as they saw their playing time be reduced, even when they are great role players; this shows how deep the roster is now.

Mo Bamba has seen a status upgrade for tonight

The Lakers C Mo Bamba will probably not be playing against the Jazz tonight, but at least he has been upgraded from out to doubtful, which showcases that he is recovering and could be back at the end of the week.
