The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James got frustrated after the Denver Nuggets swept the team in the Western Conference Finals, and he hinted at the possibility of retirement in the post-Game four presser.

A lot has been said about it, and the biggest possibility for LeBron is to return and play at least another season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Many believed James' comments were to change the narrative and take the spotlight from the team being swept.

Still, the Lakers showtime era legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has spoken about the subject and advised LeBron to do whatever he wants, as the purple and gold star hasn't anything to prove in the league anymore.

"I think it's up to him. It certainly doesn't have to prove anything. And it's just what he wants to do at this point." Said Kareem when asked about LeBron James' possible retirement.

LeBron James has accomplished everything in the NBA

LeBron is the most accomplished NBA player ever with all of the awards and accolades he has compiled over his career. At this point, Kareem is correct in that he has nothing to prove; his legacy speaks for itself, and whether or not he should continue playing is solely a matter of what he wants.
