Not only the Los Angeles Lakers fandom is mad at the team's GM Rob Pelinka, but also NBA experts and analysts don't have the squad as a real contender for the 2022-2023 championship.
The Lakers' roster, as currently constructed, doesn't make sense. It's imbalanced and screaming for a trade. The only recent movement was the addition of the guards Patrick Beverley and Dennis Schröder, who came back a year after his release
Juan Toscano Anderson hasn't been in any headlines but is one of the best signings of the offseason after just winning a championship with the Golden State Warriors.
At the moment, the GM Rob Pelinka has lost a lot of players that wanted to other teams; with the opportunity window closing, fans are afraid that the roster will stay as it is now.
It hasn't been talked a lot about. Still, the Lakers are also betting on some of their young talent and rookies, including the already proved Austin Reaves, a recovered Kendrick Nunn, and new rookies like Scotty Pippen Jr, Cole Swider, Javante McCoy, Max Christie, and Fabian White.
