Even when the recent addition of guard Patrick Beverley to the Los Angeles Lakers was initially controversial, Pat has been gaining the love of the fans and even LA icon Shaq.

O'Neal recently supported Pat Bev, stating: "Stay off my boy Pat," Shaq said. "I've got nothing bad to say about Pat. You know why? He plays the game like it's supposed to be played. Not these dudes that are making 200, 300 million and can't play at all."

O'Neal was probably referring to Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, two players he criticized heavily in the past. But returning to his support to Pat, Shaq considers that you always want that kind of player in your team. He is a player that always gives his 100%.

Shaquille O'Neal challenged Kobe Bryant to score 50 points in his last game with the LA

In an interview, an already retired Shaquille O'Neal, now as a sports commentator on live tv, challenged his former teammate and Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant to score 50 points in his last game at the Lakers' “Home.” Bryant went on to score 60 points in that game.
