The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling early in the season and trading reports surfaced of the front office wanting to make a move with the Chicago Bulls, with Alex Caruso's name being part of the mix.

Caruso is a former fan favorite Laker and currently is helping Chicago to beat the Lakers with seven scored points, the same as LeBron James currently has, with that many points being the most number of points that players have scored in the first quarter at the moment.

To make things worse, the team is losing while having its entire team rotation available for the first time in the season. The purple and gold have been suffering from injuries since the start of the campaign.

Chicago doesn't have available their best player, point guard Zach LaVine who also has been rumored to be a target of the Lakers front office led by GM Rob Pelinka. Still, the team wants to see how Gabe Vincent works with the rest of the team available.

The Lakers second unit is starting to help the team cut the distance

Now that Austin Reaves, Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Rui Hachimura have entered the game, the team is looking better with Anthony Davis as the center, still, the team is trailing by ten points when the first quarter is close to its end with less than two minutes left in the clock.
