According to an NBA reporter, the Lakers and Suns are both interested in Bojan Bogdanovic.

The Lakers have been trying to upgrade their roster since the end of last season. Last year the team ended with a 33-49 record missing the playoffs. So far the Lakers have traded for an all-NBA defensive player Patrick Beverley which will help a bottom-ten defense. Now, new reports say that the Purple and Gold are interested in Bojan Bogdanovic.

According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Phoenix, "Phoenix reportedly reached out to the Jazz about the 33-year-old following Utah’s trade of All-Star Donovan Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday."

The insider also tweeted that several teams are interested in the 3-point shooter including the Lakers. According to reports, the Lakers are also interested in trading for Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson alongside Bogdanovic.

Bojan Bogdanovic has played 8 seasons for 4 teams. He has averaged 15.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 603 regular-season games. He has played for the Nets, the Raptors, the Pacers, and the Jazz. Last season he averaged 18.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists while shooting 45.5% from field goals and 38.7% from the three-point line.

Will the Lakers make a trade?

The Lakers still need to improve their team before the start of next season if they want to compete with the top teams in the Western Conference. They also might consider trading Russell Westbrook to avoid the locker room falling into chaos.
