The Los Angeles Lakers had a disappointing first preseason game for the most part, even when players like Anthony Davis, D'Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, and the sophomore Max Christie were outstanding.

The rest of the team didn't look as great, and the purple and gold fanbase was quick to notice the lack of 3-point efficacy within the team. The good news is that is just one preseason game, which is the time to give this kind of performance, and isn't a parameter of how the group will behave in their 3-point shooting, especially with the two noticeable absences in that game.

LeBron James and Austin Reaves missed the game, and the team still shot 39% on their 3-pointers which isn't bad, and with the return of two of their best players, that percentage should go up.

Cam Reddish was the first player to disappoint, still, is only one preseason game and is set to bounce back, also new signings like Taurean Prince, and Christian Wood that weren't great are also starting to get used to play in coach Ham's system, there's nothing to worry about and once the whole group is on the same page, things are set to be different.

Jaxson Hayes left a good first impression with Gabe Vincent

Despite not having a great night, Gabe Vincent was one of the standouts of the new signings, also the center gave a great performance on his debut as a purple and gold.
