Unsurprisingly, Skip Bayless is trying to find ways to diminish LeBron James and his potential to win the In-Season Tournament with the Los Angeles Lakers, despite being a fan of the purple and gold.

Bayless is known to be a big detractor of LeBron James as he considers himself to be a Michael Jordan defender on the GOAT talk, so is not surprising that he goes to extremes in trying to diminish what James does on the court.

With LA winning with a controversial play where LeBron called for a timeout while Austin Reaves was holding the ball, some people argued the guard didn't have control of the ball, many started to say the game and the In-Season Tournament were rigged, Kevin Durant is one of them and Bayless is another one.

Skip wrote in an attempt to underestimate the potential case the Lakers win the Tournament: "Lakers will win the inaugural In-Season Tournament. LeBron is taking it much more seriously than Giannis, who said after his game he's not happy about having to go to Vegas without his family on his bday. Lakers>Pacers for the Cup. But it WILL NOT COUNT as LBJ's 5th ring."

Skip Bayless just doesn't want LeBron James to have more arguments on the GOAT debate

Many already have LeBron James as the GOAT and people that still have Michael Jordan as the number one are starting to have doubts, and for the Lakers superstar to add another trophy to his name could affect that, even though is not the NBA title but will be a new one for sure.
