The Lakers got a blowout win over the New Orleans Pelicans in the In-Season Tournament semifinals in what was expected to be a more contended game, but LA was superior the whole 48 minutes.

With the win over New Orleans, the Los Angeles Lakers remain undefeated in the In-Season Tournament with a 6-0 record, the same as their Finals rival, the Indiana Pacers, and are just a game away from winning the inaugural competition.

In the regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers also improved to a 14-9 record which has helped them to climb into the 4th seed of the Western Conference only behind the Minnesota Timberwolves, OKC Thunder, and the Denver Nuggets.

With the 44-point win over the Pelicans, the Lakers will play the Indiana Pacers in the championship in a rematch of the 2000 NBA Finals. LeBron had 30 points and 8 assists in 23 minutes.
