The Los Angeles Lakers have been facing several struggles this season, starting with many players being out due to injuries, and coach Darvin Ham not being able to find the best way to use his players, especially with his lineups and team rotation.
Taurean Prince has improved his shooting in the last few games, but he isn't the best option to be a starter, also, Darvin has been misusing his centers and not knowing how to manage their playing time of them.
One of the most recent examples is in the loss vs. Minnesota, where D'Angelo Russell had, for the most part, an awful performance, while Austin Reaves was the best Laker behind Anthony Davis. Ham made D'Lo play 38 minutes while Reaves had only 27 on the court.
Now, the Lakers champion Lamar Odom has said the Lakers should go big so they can switch everything and has given advice to coach Darvin Ham with a proposed starting five. LeBron James, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Anthony Davis are the lineup Odom believes LA should be used to start things every match.
Anthony Davis: "It’s the NBA season. There’s going to be ups, there’s going to be downs. Right now we’re in that down period .... We just got to continue to fight and continue to play hard. Play with some effort, and some energy and we’re treating Saturday as a must-win."
