The Los Angeles Lakers got a vital win this Sunday when they had the biggest comeback an NBA team has made this season against the Dallas Mavericks.
One of the standouts was new Laker Jarred Vanderbilt, who has quickly earned respect from the fans, coach Ham and the team's superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
AD and LeBron like the effort they see from Vando and feel the chemistry building with the team. "Vando obviously started it all, with his ball pressure on Luka, getting some steals, and kinda turned us up defensively," Davis said.
LeBron also concurs that the energy and defense that Vando had were essential for the team to make the epic comeback they had and that he wanted to finish the game besides getting his right foot injury.
"I like that challenge every night; you know, being able to guard the best players no matter 1-5... I think that's my value and my impact on this team." Said Vanderbilt, who knows his value and embraces his role, whatever that may be on any night.
