The Lakers superstar LeBron James is entering his year 21 in the NBA, without pursuing the scoring record anymore this is the mark he is now looking to accomplish.

The Los Angeles Lakers still have their main star in LeBron James, despite the narrative saying Anthony Davis is the face of the team now. But it's like recently Matt Barnes put it best, "I think it will always be LeBron's team. It's just Anthony Davis has to be the best player on it."

James is pursuing another NBA championship title, and this year, unlike the last campaign, the countdown isn't anymore for the King to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time scoring record, as he has now become the new NBA scoring leader, but has another milestone in sight.

LeBron's new target is to become the first and only player to reach 39K and 40K points. The countdown for James' new milestone begins. The Lakers star accomplishing that goal will have secured his record to be unbreakable for at least 60 to 70 years.

LeBron James isn't stopping on reaching the 40K points

LeBron has the opportunity not only to become the only player to make it to 40K scoring points but to have a mark of 40K/10K/10K, as he could get to 10K rebounds and assists too. Mindblowing.
