It finally happened the moment that the Lakers fans were furiously anticipating the return of "The King," but sadly, it didn't come through like they were expecting.

For starters, for the second time in his career, LeBron James had a coming-off-the-bench role, it was understood why, but still, it is not what fans and the star himself have wanted.

The second bad news for LeBron and the fans is that his presence couldn't prevent a painful loss against the Chicago Bulls in their hopes and goal of making it into the playoffs.

The Lakers saw their three games winning streak to be snapped by the Bulls, including former teammate Patrick Beverley who eagerly wanted to win over the purple and gold.

LeBron James talked in the post-game interview about his injury

LeBron James said he tore a tendon in his right foot — an injury that typically takes longer than four weeks to recover from. However, he said doctors told him he healed from the injury faster than they'd ever seen.
