There's no doubt that the two current faces of the NBA are LeBron James and Stephen Curry, and not since Larry Bird vs. Magic Johnson a rivalry in the league has been as great as this one is.
LeBron and the Lakers won the last edition of the rivalry in the recent playoffs as the purple and gold eliminated the Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals.
James is often considered to be the best player out of the two and is often in the GOAT conversation while Curry is in the best PG debate vs. Magic Johnson. But there's a record that Steph has that LeBron doesn't.
With information via ClutchPoints: "Steph Curry in a league of his own with all the MVPs, he has collected in his legendary career 2x NBA MBP, Finals MVP, Western Conference Finals MVP, All-Star Game MVP." Steph Curry is the only player with all 4 NBA MVPS. LeBron currently has 3, as he doesn't have a WCF MVP yet.
The Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan sent a text message to Stephen A. Smith to read at the "First Take" show, MJ says that Magic Johnson is the best PG ever over Stephen Curry.
