The Lakers star LeBron was the captain of an All-Star team in yesterday's game and scared everyone after sitting the 2nd half due to a hand injury

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was all enthusiastic and gave a fantastic show for the presents in the 2023 NBA All-Star game. Still, sadly he suffered a hand injury in a defensive play and had to sit out for the rest of the second half.

At half-time, King James was homaged in honor of him becoming the new NBA top scorer leader of all time after passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's scoring record.

After not playing the 2nd half of the All-Star game and having all the Lakers fandom in awe about his injury status, LeBron shared an optimistic upgrade "I'll be fine. I don't think it's too much to worry about."

So the fans and coaching staff from the LA Lakers should not be too worried, as the team needs their superstar in the best shape possible after being in the 13th seed and are still looking to turn things around and make it to the playoffs.

The reason behind LeBron's defensive play that got him injured

The Lakers star said he hurt his hand after promising Coach Michael Malone one defensive play tonight: "I tried to get one little chase down the block and got my finger caught in the rim." LeBron also said sitting out the rest of the game was largely precautionary.
