The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James now has a 20-year-long NBA career, but he once was a teenager that had set the highest of expectations from everyone in the basketball world.
He even appeared on the magazine cover of a special edition of Sports Illustrated with the tagline "The chosen one," Grant Wahl was behind that, so the reporter and the now Lakers superstar had a long history.
LeBron didn't miss the chance to talk about Wahl in the Friday night post-game presser but now has used his Twitter to post a heartfelt message to Grant's family.
"You hugely impacted my family and me, and I'm so appreciative of you. A great person and journalist. Rest in Paradise, Grant Wahl." Wrote LeBron James.
After the heartbreaking loss against the 76ers, the Lakers and LeBron can redeem themselves by winning their last on-the-road game of the week against the Pistons.
