By James Brown
Last week, some old tweet images from a very young Austin Reaves came to light and went viral; even "The King" himself, LeBron James, saw them.
Austin Reaves had yet another strong game with the purple and gold this season and even got some payback on Patrick Beverley defending his teammate and friend LeBron James.
James didn't stay quiet, and when asked about Reaves getting his back by making the "too small" gesture towards Patrick Beverley, the four-time MVP responded and even shade on Austin's old tweets: "AR always got my back. Always. Even though he loved Kobe back in the day more than me. I forgive him."
The Kobe comments are because one of the old tweets from Austin Reaves had a meme with Kobe throwing some shade at LeBron James in his pre-champion era. But, of course, both players are close friends now.
The Lakers are now in eighth place in the Western Conference and will head north to play the Minnesota Timberwolves, who hold the seventh spot, on Friday. But, as has been the case for several weeks, they're still within striking distance of their goal of finishing sixth in the West and avoiding the play-in tournament.
