The NBA world was shaken when many players saw what Saudi Arabia is capable of paying to sports athletes, especially in Soccer and they started to ask if there's a Basketball league.

What started as a gag from Giannis Antetokounmpo who jokingly said that he looks like Mbappe and that he gladly would sign to play in Saudi Arabia, and other stars including LeBron James doing something similar, implying they would love to go and retire with a massive deal, has now become a reality, well, kind of.

LeBron is surprised to see that Giannis is indeed looking to get some of that Saudi Arabia money as the Bucks star posted a picture of himself with soccer superstar Neymar JR. who recently signed with the Saudi Arabia Al-Hilal football club and wrote the caption "Best duo in Saudi league!!"

But the most surprising of all is the answer that Giannis got from the AlHilal Club itself, as they replied with a picture of one of their jerseys with the last name "Antetokounmpo" on it and the caption: "Your jersey is ready @Giannis_An34 Welcome "GIANNIS" to our family." It seems that the door has been opened for the arrival of NBA stars to Saudi Arabia in the future, as the love Giannis is receiving is real.

NBA stars playing in Saudi Arabia could become a reality

While we are probably years away from it, Saudi Arabia is quickly revolutionizing sports, first in soccer with superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and now Neymar Jr. And with the interest shown by NBA stars like Giannis, LeBron, and more, the Arabs could be thinking on making a basketball league with some of the biggest stars.
