This past Tuesday, the world saw the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James make history by breaking a record untouched for 39 years since the purple and gold legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar established it.

LeBron has been playing for 20 years in the NBA, but before that, he was the most anticipated young prospect; the expectations were high, but still, no one was risking too much on him, except for one man who made a gamble and won by trusting in the young King James.

The Nike founder Phil Knight witnessed history this Tuesday night in the game vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, and as opposed to the vast majority, he didn't use his cellphone, just watched what Lebron did.

Nike signed a young LeBron, a very lucrative deal; since then, they have collab all James' career and even now signed a lifetime deal worth a billion for the Lakers superstar.

In the post-game, LeBron and Knight saw each other

After achieving passing Kareem's record and making it his, LeBron James thanked Phil Knight for being in attendance. Phil responded, "I wouldn't have missed it."
